Chat Groups in Teams

To create chat groups, go to chat and start a new chat by searching for one participant.

Then click on the add people icon (plus sign with 2 people behind it) in the top right corner of the individual chat window that you started. Type the name of the next person that you want to add and click Add.

You can pin the chat group to the top section of your teams chat by pressing the three dots next to the chat then selecting Pin.

You can rename the chat group by clicking the pencil icon at the top of the group chat, next to the names of the participants. Type the name for the group and click Save.
