Connected devices not working in Citrix
When Citrix opens, it looks at everything that is currently connected to your PC. If you do not have a device connected, disconnect a device, a device is turned off, or you pull a session from a different PC the remote session (Citrix session) will not know what is still connected.
The easiest solution if you are running into things like a scanner not working or a webcam/mouse/keyboard etc. not working you will need to try the following.
- Sign out of Citrix. Do this by clicking the Start Menu>clicking on your profile icon>clicking Sign out.
- Disconnect the device, wait a second, reconnect the device.
- Re-open Citrix and try again.
*Always connect a device to the computer when Citrix is signed out and you are on the computers desktop, Then open the Citrix session.
*Drivers for the devices must be installed locally on the PC for the Citrix session to see the device that is connected.
